2017 Fall Grand Ultreya!

Grand Ultreya & Thanksgiving Feast

Happy Fall!!    This is a reminder of the Grand Ultreya Thanksgiving Feast on Friday, November 10th at 6:30 pm at Church of the Incarnation, 1465 Incarnation Drive, Charlottesville, VA  22901 in their Parish Hall.  Our Fourth Day speaker will be Mary Woloski (of Incarnation Parish) and the theme will be:  Being the Face of God:  Personal Action in Your Fourth Day.  Our Men’s Rector, Bill Balsam, will introduce our newest Cursillistas.  PLEASE WEAR CROSSES AND NAME TAGS.

We ask that YOU contribute towards the potluck as follows:  Last names ending in:  A-H   Bring a main dish   I-P  Bring a Dessert  Q-Z   Bring a side dish

IF you have any leftover Halloween candy we can take off your hands, we will gladly accept it at our tables for snack for this or future Ultreyas.  Feel free to bring and share!

Sts. Peter and Paul Community began a Cursillo Book Swap at the Summer Picnic Ultreya and we would like to continue that this Ultreya as well.  As we all know, one of the legs of the Cursillo Tripod is STUDY and many of our Groups share and discuss Spiritual Books on a regular basis at Group Reunions.  We all have books we have used and passed among group members that we could share with others.  So, if you have favorite Spiritual books you would like to share with other Cursillistas, bring them with you and swap out with books you haven't read yet OR just take a book and give a small donation if you like that will go to our Valley Cursillo Scholarship Fund.  We will also sponsor a 50/50 raffle whose proceeds will go to the Scholarship Fund.   So, bring CASH for the 50/50 Raffle and book purchases you may make!!

Ultreyas are necessary for the wider Cursillo Community to stay connected in our Fourth Day, and breaking bread together is a beautiful way to count our blessings!  Please make a conscious effort to attend and bring along someone in your reunion group.  Sometimes people are just waiting for a personal invitation!  Let’s fill up the Parish Hall at Incarnation!

De Colores and thank YOU for your personal ministries to which you collectively contribute and support!  It all makes a difference!
