How to Attend a Cursillo Weekend
I am interested in attending a Cursillo Weekend.
How do I go about it?
It's as simple as 1-2-3!
First, fill out your portion of the newest Cursillo Application form. If you have difficulty downloading the application, feel free to email us at valleycursillo@valleycursillo.com
and we can email one to you.
Second, as part of the application, you must have a sponsor, who is simply a person who has already attended a Cursillo weekend. The reason for and benefit of having a sponsor is so that you have someone who can assist you personally with questions and logistics, like filling out the application and getting to and from the Cursillo weekend. If you know someone who has already attended a Cursillo weekend, you are welcome to approach that person to be your sponsor. If not, Valley Cursillo can help you find one (simply email ValleyCursillo@gmail.com).
Third, there is a part of the application which requires your pastor's signature. Your sponsor will pass your application, along with your $190.00 check, to your pastor. Upon completing his part of the application, your pastor will mail it to : Valley Cursillo Center Coordinators, Attn: The Norvilles, 14595 Vinny Ct. Elkton, VA 22827
How Much Does it Cost to Attend a Cursillo Weekend?
We ask participants to pay only $190.00 to attend the weekend, although the actual cost is much higher. At the end of the weekend attendees will have the opportunity to make a donation to help future participants attend a Cursillo Weekend, if they wish.
